Wh Do Obama Get Outraged At The Thought That Someone Might Think Their Candidate Is A Muslim?
All these Obama supporters who blast others for thinking he’s Muslim seem to be suggesting that Muslims are beneath the rest of us. Why is that? I always thought Islam had a rich and glorious tradition. If someone thought a friend was Muslim, I wouldn’t flip out or think that if he or she was that it was bad. Why do Obama supporters?

One, it’s incorrect.
Two, it’s usually said by someone that is equating that as being unpatriotic as Muslims were who attacked us on 911.
The people who are saying Obama is Muslim are using that lie as a reason to get people not to vote for him. In doing so they are trying to tap in to American distrust, even fear, of Muslims in the country. Rather than use the race card which is not very acceptable these days, the Muslim card is in, in today’s America and these people know it.
Sometimes a lie sticks and that is why people who use the Muslim accusation against Obama must be confronted on this site and others because a lot of people are so frightened by this.
And I will repeat once again. Obama is a Christian. If you don’t want to vote for him because of his policies, his vision, his ideas, his age or even his race, I have no problem with that. Just don’t use the Muslim thing because it is so blatantly untrue.
I guess Americans just don’t trust Muslims. That’s Okay though, I don’t think that Muslims (in a Muslim country) would elect a Christian president either (well I would, but the majority probably wouldn’t)…
Get real; it’s obviously a right-wing scare tactic to exploit the bigotry and ignorance of conservative voters.
Besides, doesn’t it bother you if someone falsely accuses you of being or doing something that is not true?
Because they hate America, and they are muslim sympathizers.
Perhaps because its a deliberate lie intended to provoke racism and xenophobia against Obama.
