The question “does god exist?” is NOT an atheism vs theism debate but an atheism vs deism debate. To defend theism you have to actually defend a certain religion and it’s dogmas and stories. Wether a god exist or not is irrelevant if god doesn’t do anything for us or there is no heaven. A deist god that created everything and then leaned back not caring at all is insignificant to us. A deist is ALSO an atheist as the deist also rejects theist claims.
