Sanaa honor killing!
Today (16-09-2009) another woman, just 18 years old, has been killed in Italy because her father, a good muslim, thought it was quite sinful that this woman could exert her free will and love someone who didn’t belong to her culture and religion. This is telling a lot about how Islam is a peaceful religion and how it spreads culture and civilization. Another sad case, and I guess it’s only the tip of the iceberg, there is no statistic of the number of women who accept their “fate” and live a life of misery because of fear of their “family”.
I’ve read about a recent case in Germany where a Afghani family was shocked and outraged about the court sentence their youngest son received, whom they have sent to slaughter his sister to reinstate the “honor” of their family. I guess they thought killing a young woman is a trivial offense here.
