What Is The Religious Belief About Having An Abortion Because Of Christian And Muslim Background?
A friend of mine had a relationship with an arab muslim man and is now pregnant. He wants her to abort and things that she has read on muslim beliefs says its ok to abort because she is an adultress. in other words there relationship and this child was and is a sin. Whats the facts here?

From a Christian perspective, she should not have an abortion, regardless of what her relationship is with this man.
Personally, she needs to get rid of him, to cut off all ties with him because he is nonsupportive of her and he also contributed to the child’s conception, obviously. And also, Muslim men are notorious for treating women poorly.
I would encourage her to keep the child. Abortion is murder. If she cannot keep and raise the child, adoption is always an alternative. There is always an alternative to abortion, no matter what the Koran says.
And she needs to ditch the sandy dirtbag. He’s not doing her any favors.
What are HER beliefs on abortion? She is the one that will either have to give birth, or live with the thought of the child that could have been. Neither you, him, I, or anyone who answers this question can make the choice for her. Feel free to share your opinions. Me, personally, I don’t feel there are a lot of good reasons to abort a child. But that is my opinion.

With that said if dating does occur then what comes from it is a gift from God.

jurists permitted not only contraception but also abortion within four months of pregnancy before the “ensoulment” of the fetus. In general, Muslim jurist have held two opposing views on abortion. The first that it is totally forbidden. This view is held by the majority of the Maliki School, whereas a small minority permits abortion within 40 days of conception. The Ja’fari School also prohibits abortion. The second view is that abortion is permissible until “ensoulment” which is generally believed to occur after 120 days of conception. This view is held by the Hanafi School, the Shafi’i School. The Hanbali School, and the Zaidi School although there are differences in opinion among individual jurist regarding the time of “ensoulment” and whether a compelling reason is required for abortion.
But the better choice would be to keep this gift. The father would have to tell God on the day of Judgement of his actions
That child is a life…precious to God…It would be murder to abort it…This man has no concern of the emotional wounds he wants your friend to carry….because he has no value for her. As he has no value for the life she is carrying….He just wants her to abort, so this will all go away for him. Unfortunately…it will not all go away for her…she would always have to carry this with her….She should tell him she got an abortion…and then disappear from his life, cutting all ties. Otherwise she would have to let him have visitation with this child….that would be a tragedy. He could take the child and disappear to another country.
She shouldn’t abort the kid for his sake. If she doesn’t want to go through it, it’s fine.
Their behavior was sin, but the child is not. The child is innocent and does not deserve to die, and God will hold them accountable for murder if they kill the child. For more information, see:

Well that sounds like crock to me the child didn’t commit any sin why should it be killed in punishment for their ‘mistake’?

What? Are you sure that guy is Muslim? In Islam it is haraam to get an abortion. Unless the mother can die if she continues with the pregnancy than it is ok to get an abortion and ALLAH will not find any fault with her. As for adulteress is this guy married? If he is than he can be beaten 90 times with a whip for having sex with someone who is not his wife. The adulteress can not have an abortion. She can also be lashed with a whip after the pregnancy and custody of the baby will go to the father.
