We all know Obama is not a Muslim But why did the Islamic World think he was really a secret Muslim?
I watched a BBC News segment on the Arab and Islamic media. They are shocked that Braq is not coming to the rescue of Gaza. The actually believed he would stand with th Muslim Brotherhood.

Dick Cheney and Bush actually thought the Iraqi people would ‘greet us as liberators’….sometimes people are wrong.
On “Meet the Press” in March 2003, Cheney blithely dismissed Tim Russert when the host asked what would happen if “we’re not treated as liberators but as conquerors.” Would the American people be “prepared for a long, costly and bloody battle with significant American casualties?”
“Not to worry”, said Cheney: “I don’t think it’s likely to unfold that way, Tim, because I really do believe we will be greeted as liberators.” Cheney dismissed Gen. Eric Shinseki’s view of how many troops an occupation would require: “To suggest that we need several hundred thousand troops there after military operations cease, after the conflict ends, I don’t think is accurate. I think that’s an overstatement.”

I am not so sure they thougth he was a Muslim. But they surely thought he woudl be sympathetic to the Muslim views.
But I did hear that according the the Muslim teaching, if your father was a Muslim, then you are a Muslim. If that is the Islamic teaching, then that would explain their view.
He was born a Muslim and in their world he will always be one.

Which everyone in the US knows–except some religious bigots who assume the propaganda of those extremists represents the views of the majority of Muslims. The same sort of unpatriotic bigots who don’t even know enough about their own country to know Obama isn’t president yet–or to bother to learn how to spell his name correctly.

Some people think he is a Muslim and some think he is a phoney Christian, probably because he… said he was a Muslim in an interview with George Stephanopolis, went to a Muslim school as a child, has a Muslim name, attended a Black Liberation Theology church (that teaches anti-Israeli sentiments which go against traditional Christian teachings) for twenty years, hangs out with a terrorist (Bill Ayers), admited he was a Marxist in his audio book (the Audacity of Truth), promised that the first thing he would do as president would be to pass FOCA (which is very un-Christian because it promotes abortion under any circumstance, including partial-birth abortion and doesn’t allow for parental notification of minors), fought against the Born Alive Act which prevents abortion doctors from letting aborted babies die that happened to come out alive, said he didn’t take the Bible literally, and is a general phony- talking a calm, traditional talk but having a completely radical record.
There’s more, but these are a few off the top of my head.
Oh just wait we will see if he is or isn’t after Jan 20th but he also knows that that isn’t something that he cant be impeached on so I believe it will come to light soon.And people will say so what they will not be looking at the fact that he lied.
