All the gospels were written long after the death of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). The contradictions among all the gospels are so obvious that you do not need to be a scholar to find them. Consider the following verses from Mark Chapter 16 which outline the characteristics of a Christian:

15. He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18. they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Can the Christians demonstrate the paranormal characteristics mentioned in above verses. Can they speak in any foreign language without learning it? Can they drink poison without harming themselves? Can they heal people with any diseases just by a mere touch?

Now what does Matthew says about it. Matthew 28: “18 Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” Matthew does not mention those paranormal stuffs at all. Then how did Mark come up with those extra verses?

Moreover, was Jesus sent to all nations or just the tribes of Israel? What does Matthew Chapter 15 says about it? “22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.” Mark 7:25-27 mentions the same incident.

The sign of Jonah – unfullfilled prophecy: “Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s bbelly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:38-40)

Let us examine how many days and nights Jesus was in the sepulcher. Jesus was placed in the tomb just before sunset on Friday, was in the tomb all day Saturday and was missing before sunrise on Sunday. In any calculation it is one day and two nights! Moreover, Jonah was alive in the belly of a whale and Jesus was dead in the tomb. How was this no sign but one fullfilled by Jesus? Think for a moment what you believe in because: “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Another contradiction of Christianity is eating pork. The Christians are also forbidden from eating pork. Here is a quote from the Old Testament to that effect: “And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.” (Deuteronomy 14:8) Many Christians believe that this verse was directed only at the Jews. But Jesus himself says during the Sermon on the Mount; “Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” (Matthew: 5:17-18) Some Christians say that, after a vision by St. Peter, God cleansed all animals and made them fit and lawful for human consumption. If ALL animals are cleansed by Peter’s vision, this includes dogs, cats, vultures, snakes and rats: but you just don’t see people getting excited about a cat-meat sandwich like they do over barbecued pork or bacon. Others say that it was Paul who rescinded the law forbidding pork to humans, in order to appease the Romans, who enjoyed the taste of pig-meat. Many excuses have been given, but none are very sound.

Krishna is Hindu god, Buddha is Buddhist god, and Christ is Christian god. Why believe in so any human gods! Why can not we believe in one powerful omnipotent and omniscient God who does not cry out loud from the cross “My God, my God why have you forsaken me!” “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’” (Mark 15:34 which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”) How can God leave God!

Also Jesus (peace be upon him) never preached Christianity. He lived as a Jew and died as a Jew. He was never born on 25th of December and he never ate pork. He came not to destroy the law which includes these two top commandments: “Thou shall have no other gods before Me.” and “Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image.” He was sent ot us as a mighty massenger of God. Considering all these and many other controversies and discrepancies, how can a sane rational mind worship Jesus (peace be upon him)? Why can not we simply worship one and only GOD, the same God Jesus (peace be upon him) himself worshipped?

More Than a Prophet: An Insider’s Response to Muslim Beliefs About Jesus & Christianity

Ergun Caner introduces himself as a convert. He says his father was an Islamic leader and he claims he was a devout Muslim. He also says he is from a Muslim family, which is not entirely true. His father was a Turkish Muslim, he died in 1999, and his mother is SWEDISH, still CHRISTIAN. So, at most they are half insider! But off course, labeling it as “an half-insider’s look..” wouldn’t promote it so much! They were born in Sweden and America, lived their entire life in the west, experienced a broken family. And found a warm friendship when in very need of it. This led to their exagerated conversion (fireworks!) Their contact with islam is one ounce more than any American. What kind of insider is that? Actually they are regular johnnies.

At the age of 16 , in the midst of his parent’s divorce he chose Christianity. It is very plausable to think he did this to take revenge from his father. His brother who also writes about Islam was even younger when he chose to be a Christian. What Ergun knows about Islam is NOT what he learned from his father, (what serious academic knowledge about any religion can you learn until the age of 16?, please be fair) but rather what he learned from Muslim-Hating Evangelist Christians who think all the Muslims live in tents ,and they travel around the world on coconut shells.

I respect one’s decision about their religion however please tell me why he hides his real life but fabricates all these lies as to he was an insider etc. May I tell you why? : Because Evangelists believe to “save” and “deliver” unbelievers “lying” “cheating” “distorting” are fine and justified. That’s exactly what he is doing so is his brother. These two were still kids when they chose Christianity (He was 16 and his brother was even younger) and it was rather an emotional decision not a logical, prompted by their parents’ divorce. What I do not like about this guy and his brother is not their decision about the religion but their hiding their real background and posing as “former” Muslims who knew and who know all about Islam as an insider. If your 13 year old converts and becomes a Muslim and starts writing books about how Christianity is bad and evil -because he claims he knows it inside out- Will you take him seriously? please be fair. Ergun Caner and his brother Fethi were kids who wanted to take revenge from their father for the divorce and they did. They are nothing but a good advertising opportunity for the fundemantalist Christian Groups who hate all the other religions, particularly Islam. Rather than pursuing interfaith dialogue and work for peace these guys live to start a crazy faith based World War so that their ill minded prophecies come true. Let us, sensible people, not fall into this trap

Lastly here is a pastor’s comments on the book:

“Their pop-Evangelical conclusions, eager to dispense easy solutions, wind up misrepresenting some key ideas. At their worst, they wrongly diagnose entire historical movements (the first Crusade, for instance, which they argue was in reaction to persecuted German pilgrims 30 years earlier!). More threatening to many will be their poor handling of Christian theology, functionally denying God’s election and (somehow simultaneously) Christian responsibility to obey God’s Word. As a pastor, I’d recommend examining the other introductory texts to Islam and Christianity.”

The Caner brothers give a good testimonial on why Jesus should be worshipped. What they do not do is show why he should be worshipped by Muslims according to their own religious doctrines. Simply by being born to Muslim parents, the Caner brothers have dubbed themselves insiders, and use this book as nothing more than a missionary tract. I admire them for wanting to spread the light of Christ, but I feel that this is done in a dishonest way.

Ok, I have not problem with them trying to share Jesus with Muslims but do it right. They were born to a Muslim father and a converted mother. And they converted in their teens, then studied Christianity – so tell me what makes them think they are the know all of Muslim life, Islamic Religion to write this?

I am a Christian and I have Muslim family members, this book and their other book does not do Islam any justice. It just confirms the negative and stereotypical images that we already know.

More Than a Prophet: An Insider’s Response to Muslim Beliefs About Jesus & Christianity

I love reading the reviews by muslims below. They are so narrow minded and fanatic. By the way they talk they obviously hate Christianity and Christians. What kind of other religion except islam inspires such animosity and hate towards other people. Just read the review below by the guy denoucing the Bible and Christ. It seems muslims like to be percieved as spiritual and peaceloving…but deep down…they are full of rotteness and dead mens bones.

Peace
