Examples Of Thought Provoking Questions From Islamic History?

I am not necessarily asking for answers to my school assignments but my teacher wants every week 2 “Thought provoking insightful questions” and I am not quite sure like where to start even. The class is an Islamic history class and this week is from Khosrau period roughly. Anyone have any for an example for me?
and I know he’s Persian but thats where the books start to pick up that we are reading (we’re doing like back story) I posted this under Religion and Spirituality that was a mistake
