To me, this is an insult to me — when Bill O’Reilly says, “You really think he’s stupid?” Yeah. Somebody who invades a Muslim country and doesn’t know that there’s a potential civil war between the Sunnis and the Shias brewing — that’s stupid, and that’s impeachable.

@saper321 There’s a difference between a possible terrorist and a potential terrorist? Sure. That’s a high accusation. I don’t see the liberals saying “we have to take our country back, no matter what”. I don’t see the democrats saying “we must stop this fascist regime”. And most of all, I don’t see the progressives fighting tooth-and-nail to have as many guns as they can.
And even with all of that, even when it’s people on the right killing doctors, I don’t stoop to this level of accusation.

Bill read this fact in a book, so it MUST be true. Nevermind that the book was an anti-Bush screed, and there has been absolutely no actual confirmation of this quote. It’s what the courts would call “hearsay”.
Furthermore, documents coming out of the White House before this alleged incident clearly show the Administration knew the difference between Sunni and Shiite muslims.

@Cheshirecat55 woops i had a typo in my last response. I meant to say that DADT simply forbids LGBT members of the military (uh huh, our ALL VOLUNTEER military) from living conspicuously. Anyways… living in the United States of America isn’t nearly as bad as you appear to be under the impression of… Perhaps if you get the chance to do some extensive world traveling, you’ll change your perspective of life in the states as compared to life in other countries. @Cheshirecat55 :) Like I implied before, it’s not illegal to BE gay in the US. DADT does not change that simple fact; DADT forbids members of the LGBT “community” from living conspicuously. And you’re right, as a nation we have much room for growth… but the point to my previous comment was that so do the other nations of our time. We all have a long journey of “progress” before us. Compared to its contemporaries, the US typically does a remarkable job of protecting the rights of its residents.

The trouble with Barack Obama is that he’s been TAINTED by the Third-World. He has lived there, and countries like Indonesia expect to be taken care of. Bill Maher told this story about Bush in the media many times. I do find it quite easy to believe, but Maher is the only person I have ever heard talking about this. Des someone know where this comes from? I would like to double check it.
